It's 10 o'clock on Saturday morning. You and your best friends are getting ready together, catching up, and maybe bantering a little. Then she walks in... the photographer that has been hyped up since engagement photos six months ago. Everyone is anticipating the moment they get to sum up the personality of the person they'll be spending the next eight or so hours with. She opens the door with a bottle of champagne in one hand and camera in the other, exclaiming "HEYYY! Let's do this!" A cork pops and that laughter that's more free than America itself resounds the entire venue. Cue the ceremony. She's deeply focused on the movement of her feet, the memory of the camera settings as she shifts from you walking down the aisle to the look of pure bliss on your soulmate's face. As she inconspicuously tucks away a tender image of mom wiping a tear from her eye, she feels her own tears start to well. A moment of pure love and joy fills everyone's hearts as rings are exchanged, and an eruption of cheers fills our ears as you kiss your new spouse.
Family formals are a breeze with an audible calling of names (enduringly named my "outside voice") for each grouping prepared far before your wedding day. Before you know it, you're cutting the cake and your photographer is doing her best attempt at The Wobble.
You end the night with an energetic send off and by that time the next day, you have your staple images from the magic you experienced on your wedding day.
